We are marketers and engineers who found ourselves searching for the same things across several websites. So we built a tool that will let us type once and search all our favorite sites.
It was now easier for us to jump from our search engine to another be it Google, Twitter, TheFind, Scoopler, Backtype, Yahoo, Bing, Search HN etc...
One Wednesday a friend of ours used the app and found it, well, pointless. "I just Google" she proudly said. Silence. Then followed with "But if you combined TheFind, Amazon or Bing, Ebay and Become I could find my jeans a lot lot easier". So we did shopfor her. Then she asked "Can you do something with Events and Tickets". We responded, make a list, and we'll hook you up.
She made a list, and we hooked her up. She then asked "just one more thing, can you please give me some URL that is not these numbers and dots?". So we put the app on Walabok.com, and that's how you got here and clicked About.
